Sarah’s Background

Sarah is an attorney in the firm’s Houston office. As the daughter of two personal injury lawyers, Sarah was inspired at a young age to fight for individuals whose rights have been violated. Sarah was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and attended college at Georgia Southern University on a Presidential scholarship. After earning her undergraduate degree in Spanish, Sarah returned to Louisiana and earned her law degree from LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center cum laude. While in law school, Sarah was repeatedly named a Paul M. Hebert scholar and Dean’s scholar for her academic achievement. Additionally, Sarah earned the CALI awards for the highest grades in Basic Civil Procedure I, Legal Research and Writing II, and Administration of Criminal Justice II.

She now is a trial lawyer focused on representing individuals who have been harmed by the negligence of others in medical malpractice cases, trucking accident cases, products liability cases, and other personal injury matters.

Prior to joining Hodges & Foty, Sarah worked as an attorney at a prominent Houston law firm handling commercial litigation and personal injury matters. Sarah is fluent in Spanish and enjoys assisting clients in both English and Spanish.

Currently, Sarah is admitted to practice in the State of Texas. Sarah is active in several professional organizations including the Houston Young Lawyer’s Association, RedBuds, Friends of Depelchin, Urban Green, and Texas Young Professionals. Sarah also serves on the Membership Committee and the HAY Committee of the Houston Bar Association.
