William Rivers Wallace is a trial attorney who represents workers in unpaid wage disputes. Rivers was born and raised in Houston to two lawyers. After graduating from Trinity University with a degree in English and minor in Business Legal Studies in 2015, Rivers began his legal studies at South Texas College of Law that same year. He graduated and became licensed to practice in 2018.
During law school, Rivers spent all six semesters on the Dean’s List and served as an associate editor for the Texas Journal of Business Law. Outside of class, he actively participated in the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinics: advocating for children with learning disabilities in the public school system, providing probate and estate planning counseling, and offering free tax advice through the Volunteer Tax Assistance Program.
After law school, he began his career helping those in need. He has represented clients across the country in various wage and hour disputes. He joined Hodges & Foty in 2020, where he has continued his practice of helping underpaid workers recover lost wages from their employers.
Rivers is an aspiring photographer, movie-goer, and Houston Astros fan.
